In April 2014 Kolby will play one of the lead roles in director Rebecca Kjellmann's short film "Engelsdaughter". It is sat in year 1613 - the time of the haunting witch processes in Europe. It is a dark chapter in the historiy of Norway, as the witch hunt in the country was the worst on the Continent percentage wise. 


The Retired

In 2012 Kolby played the stockbroker father Thomas in the short film “The Retired”. Director Line Torvund depicts the story of the deeply lonely, retired old man Even. He befriends Thomas’ 5-year old son Martin and experiences the unusual joy of unconditioned friendship.

The White Christ

In 2010 Kolby wrote, directed and produced his first short film; "The White Christ" set in the viking age.

Oslo Night

In 2009 Kolby played the lead character of the mafia boss Frank in the short film “Oslo Night” - a dark tale from the underworld of criminal Oslo.
