Oil on canvas, 90 x 120 cm. 2014.

From 1939 until 1997 Fornebu outside Oslo city center was Norway's major airport. As the new was built at Gardermoen the grounds of the old airport were transformed to new apartments and a large park; the Nansen park.

Kolby has found this motif in the beautiful park, where the old control tower mirrors itself in a leg of the vast water basin system in the area.

In the former offices of the airlines some 70 artists now have their studios, and Kolby is one of them.
