Acrylic on canvas, 70 x 54 cm. 2000.

The woman in the second painting of the triptych allows the spectator to nurse a hope in the conflict. Though wearing the deadly machine-gun bullets as ear jewelry, this young Asian woman has an expression of openness and strength in her gracious face.

In this painting it is even more difficult for the wiewer to distance himself from the beauty of the projectiles, and remember their original use.
