In this graphic work Kolby has focused on the metallic appearance of the calm water of the Oslo fjord a summer's night. With washes of color and spirit he has worked the limestone to obtain the cool, sharp effect of the water. The single red light from a lighthouse at the shore effectively stands out towards the massive blue of the night.
